During a tight window in between returning from London having seen my daughter and her excellent colleagues performing in The Lord Mayor of London's New Years Day Parade, and visiting my in-laws for a wonderful New Years Day supper I successfully ran a mile!
The run was on Southsea seafront - it was dark, cold and wet and also my first run in a few years BUT I DID IT!

Time: 8:08
Not the greatest time in the world I acknowledge - but that is my benchmark - I shall do exactly the same run on 31 Jan (hopefully) and see how different it feels and what time I do it in.
Now to plan todays run.
